ABOUT MWVYHA - our
organization
Founded in 1992, the Mount Washington Valley Youth Hockey Association
has its roots at the most fundamental level...the devotion and efforts
of caring parents. Many current members surely recall scraping and
shoveling outdoor rink ice of questionable quality so their children
could lace their skates despite the often imperfect winter weather.
Through community efforts and financial support, the state of the art
Ham Arena
located in Conway, New
Hampshire was constructed and is now our home rink.
The MWVYHA now enjoys
a growing membership and a direction intended to foster personal growth through
athletic competition. The volunteers who believe in the organization's
mission statement
as indicated on the splash page work long and hard not only for their own
children but for others and the constant improvement of the organization as
well.
Board meetings are
typically held on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 pm. Coaches and parents are welcome to attend. Please email a board
member for more info. Feel free to email anyone on the
list regarding organizational issues, concerns or comments.
